I like the story, it is getting off to a really really disjointed start, but judging by the quadruplets reactions I can only assume alternative universes were part of their daily commute to school and hope for some eventual back story.

PS: I think there is a typo there: “On the dais before them, a thone stood illumed by the flames.” I think it should read “throne” (with r)
