As of the current update you seem to remember now more about your abilities and how to fight. Why could / did you not teach your siblings a bit more of how to use their powers and how to use them before that attack came? If that is not too spoiler induced … if it is then: Why did you leave your siblings behind – I thought you wanted them to come with you to your heart friend – or did I misunderstand / misinterpret that?

From the outset, it looks like each warrior has a partner warrior with the opposite primary ability. Why did (or didn’t you) arrive in the Gaia before the rest of your quads?

Why are all the speakers carnivores?
I need to think about if I can answer this. The quick answer doesn’t actually answer the question though it might give you a clue to the real reason. The long answer would require explaining a lot of spoilery universal metaphysics.

OK, I have another question. Do speakers have heart friends or only other people? this may have been explained in the story already but I’m unclear on it.
Also are the heart friends usually some sort of mythical or animal like creature – I think Alban is the only one so far whose humanoid – it that unusual?

Hmm, can you clarify the first part of the question? Are you asking if the heart friend bond always between a human and a speaker or something else? Also are you withdrawing the previous question about why Speakers are carniverous, or is this your second question of the week?

Well there are spoilers if I answered fully and objectively, but I can tell you what Lydia knows as of now – which is accurate but incomplete.
Hi! I guess my question reveals my confusion with the heart friend deal – I guess more simply it is: who has heart friends and who becomes heart friends?
As for the meat eating question, if its too complex to answer at this point, just give us a clue! Like: there are no good vegetarian restaurants in Talonkia. Well, maybe a better clue than that 😉
Her knowledge as of now is sufficient to answer my question (read: it counts as sufficient answer on my part)

@Fiona: I think as far as I remember (if I remember correct…) the heart friend seems to be born at the same moment their partners are and therefore somehow “share a soul” or at least a “soul-connection” and therefore not needing a soul-stone…
My second question this week – again if that is not too spoilerish: What sickness does their mother have (if it is any) and / or why are they (at least the three) not more concerned about her?

The answer to the first part is spoilerish. The second part I’ll answer here – they’re used to it and even Daniel trusts his father to take care of her. And as their father says she’s getting worse. She wasn’t so bad when they left – just prone to periods of vagueness and headaches. And they’ve been a bit distracted of course.

What is the effect of hurt and death of one heart friend to the other (both directions) and what is the difference to humans as heart friend?
As example it was mentioned that somebody wanted/had planned to kill one heart friend after birth because he had no soul stone – how would that have effected the (human) heart friend (I do not remember who it was, though)?

Like one day in Talonyka equals an hour on Earth or the like – and if not should they not be missed on Earth already? Are interracial/interspecies relationships and/or relationships between heart-friends possible/fruitful in Talonika? For example if you get older would it be possible for you to fall in love with Alban, marry him (or be with him or whatever the equivalent to these is in Talonika) and get children? (or would it stop right after #2? – no kids possible?) and would the kids have soul-stones or be humans or a mixture? and would this relationship be different from any other couple because of you being heart-friends?

– How do they work “sciencemagically”? (or however you would call that)

– and how do they work in the sense of where can you go to with one: can you only go from Gaia to Thalonyka – and only to the same place or can you go from Gaia to any place in Thalonyka – or can you go from Thalonyka to any place in Gaia – or can you use them also to go from one place in Thalonyka to another? or is it you have to go to Gaia and then go to that other place in Thalonyka? Can you also go from one place in Gaia to another? etc… (I hope that makes sense?)

See this part. Indirian is one of the Core’s guardians like She who was Elaranor. Speakers tend to refer to the guardians previous identity in the past tense.

I’m on the mend, thankfully, the only symptom still bothering me is a horribly sore throat and it’s improving slowly… (New Years Eve I slept most of the day and had to be woken up at 11.15 to be up to see in the New Year. I was back in bed just after midnight. New Years Day wasn’t much better.

What is this shift and the resonant forms? How would you explain it? Can you choose your resonant form? How does it affect your power when you are shifted? Is this shifting into an element or another “animal”-form (or “speaker”-form)? (e.g. could it be that you end up as a tree or a water puddle?) Are you mobile when you are shifted (can you walk/float or whatever or could you end up stationary, e.g. when you end up as a stone or something the like?)?
