Kyle slid down from Lyrrekka’s back, then stiffened as he sensed Marian Laverne nearby. He would have charged in to attack her without thinking but his mother slid back into her human form and placed a gentle hand on his forearm.

Salia tried a mouthful of the meat from one of the dishes that the non-speakers were eating. The spiciness of it caught her by surprise and she started choking. Lyrrekka hit her on the back and passed her a drink of water.

“If you want to try the curry, you’d probably better try the korma.” She pointed to the dish at the other end which contained a creamy looking meat dish. “It’s a lot milder.”

Salia coughed a little more and gulped down the water before shaking her head. “I think I’ll stick to steak. That stuff is horrible. How can you eat it? It feels like trying to eat plants at home.” Read the rest of this entry »

Hi All,

As the title says I’m organising  a little blog tour to try to drum up some interest in the Land of Myth Book. I’m going to start it on 4th June and run it on Mondays through Fridays for the month. Five Six people have already agreed to host me so I’m looking for at least another fifteen fourteen blogs to host me. So this post is an appeal to my readers – if you are willing to host me please comment on this post and we’ll sort something out. If I get more than I need I’m happy to extend into July.

Sure enough, when she focused intently on her brother she could catch the edges of his presence. He was further away than she’d ever sensed him and he seemed to be surrounded by a psychic fog, but he was there and definitely to the north. Carl was waiting for them when they got back. He looked pale and tense and had obviously been pacing the gate room floor for some time.
